Eléctrico Mezcal & the Spirit of Eléctrico Love
Hello, all you good, sweet people, family, friends, colleagues!
I have some exciting news to let you in on! After nearly five long years—loving every moment, mixed with much sadness over the death of my Co-Founder, Diego López, I am proud to say that we have come together to regroup as TEAM ELÉCTRICO! Together we are an emerging spirit into the growth of Eléctrico Mezcal; Eléctrico Spirits Importers based in Austin, TX. Casa de Mezcales Eléctrico based in Tlacolula and San Baltazar Guelavila, Oaxaca.
I’m overjoyed to announce that we have official label approval on our Espadín Joven (Blue) from the CRM (Governing Mezcal Agency in Mexico), the TTB (US Federal Governing Agency), and the TABC (Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission)! Greenlight! We now go for approvals on the other three labels.
What does this mean? We now get to bottle, label, and import our first small batches of Mezcal into the US, which will go through a Distributor. We are all very enthused! We are full in on approved Trademarks as well. Whew!
ELÉCTRICO love: Eléctrico Mezcal was born from Project Eléctrico, recording music worldwide, bringing people together through music, culture, and passion.
While recording in Oaxaca, Kathleen Blackwell, Founder of ELÉCTRICO Mezcal, was introduced to Mezcal by the late Recording Engineer, Diego Lopéz, whose family is from Oaxaca, Mexico.
CRAFTED BY MAN, BEAST, TIME, AND FIRE…Kathleen instantly decided she wanted to share mezcal with the world.
|We look forward to sharing our #SparkOfLife taste with you!|
